Celica is another mixed attacker with access to swords and tomes. Although, with the additions from her Engage stuff, she'd much rather be a Magic unit. But having a side physical build doesn't hurt to have against some of the high Res tanks of the series. Her magic is close to 70 and her Spd is in a good spot to double over half the cast so her offense is quite good. The things that she gets from her Emblem Ring in Engage further boosts her potency with her offense. Echo gives her Adept which is always a nice offensive skill to have as well as getting some extra chip damage from Holy Stance (Quickclaw) and Resonance (a small boost to Mag). Her big skill like some of the other Engage units so far in the series is Warp Ragnarok which is a powerful attack that can't be countered and has great accuracy. And with the addition of Favorite Food (Whenever she heals, she gains another use of Warp Ragnarok), she can actually use it more than once per fight unlike the other units that get their attack from their Emblem Ring. She is also decent Mage Killer because of her great Res and access to Sword attacks to avoid their Res stats and instead attack their Def. She does have a personal weapon, Beloved Zofia, but she will rarely use it because she'd rather attack with Mag or with a better sword. But the skills that it gives her enhances her build even more. She gets Renewal from Recovery (an option to heal her every turn basically confirming that she gets another use of Warp Ragnarok as long as she lives until her next turn), Insight & -2 Str from Subdue (Which shores up her hit rates quite well and the -2 Str isn't too much of a big deal since she's rather attack on the Magic side anyways), and +2 Spd from Swap. Her main issue is that she is frail on the Def side of things and even with a 57 Spd stat, she will get outsped and mastery'd to death at a decent margin.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
