Robin is another mixed attacker that joins the fray. When building him for this series, because I wanted his Str/Mag to be somewhat even, I decided to give him a Bane to his Str and a Boon to his Skl (similar to how you pick them at the start of Awakening). This gives him almost identical stats in his Str/Mag so he can be just as effective here as he is in Awakening. Normally his offensive stats would be just average, but because of his personal skill, Ignis, and the formula that I use to give stats bonuses for it, he gets +9 to both stats to solidify his damage. He also gets +2 to all of his stats from the other skills in his Tactician/Grandmaster class with Veteran and Rally Spectrum (though the latter doesn't give the +2 to HP as it applies to all of the stats besides it). This further increases his overall stats and gives solid stats across the board. His one issue is that he isn't very fast at all and just barely gets to above average in it thanks to the +2 Spectrums that he gets from his skills and the Spd/Dex bonuses from the Emblem Ring he shares with Chrom in Engage. Because he isn't too fast and his Lck is also just above average, he will be initiated upon around half the time and doesn't really have the avoid to help him dodge tank. And in a series where masteries are king, his high HP and decent Def aren't doing him any favors either. With all that said, he's still incredibly strong because of the big stat wall that he has and also gets helped out even more from one of the skills that he gets from his the Emblem Ring, Other Half. I just translated it to Adept because in the secondary effects when the user is a Dragon, Robin chain attacks twice, and because Robin is technically a dragon, I decided to give him that.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
