The Dragon Price Kurthnaga has some very good stat spread. He has one of the best HP stats in the game along with 70 Resistance for some reason lol. This makes him the perfect mage killer among other things. I’m glad that the dragons can attack from range in Radiant Dawn, because otherwise they would be very easily countered (sadly like the other laguz are). Because of being able to attack from range, he's able to counter most attacks from the enemy units with his massive 68 Strength! The one thing that really holds back Kurthnaga from being completely overpowering, is that his Skill stat is one of the worst compared to everyone else. Even with his low Skill, his other stats carry him to a solid record.

The unit who goes first, is the one with the higher base speed stat. (Unless someone has Shade or Stillness in which case, they choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is, goes first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want and then the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
