Sephiran is one of my favorite characters in any game; his stats are also very good. So even though he doesn’t have the full Mantle skill (Only Nihil and Fortune), he is very potent. He can survive a lot of things that other units cannot because of his high magic and Nosferatu. The only weakness that Sephiran has is his low Defense. This opens him up to being two-shot by some units that he can’t do anything about even with equipping Rescue or Matrona. Having Nihil and Fortune makes it very hard to defeat him otherwise. You essentially need to whittle him down or one-round him. If you don’t have either of those, then you’ll just add to massive his win total.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
