Lyon is the bulkiest sage-type unit in this series so far with his HP close to 100 and both defenses well above average. Since Lyon had some actual growth rates from TSS from when he is playable, I used those instead of basing it off of his stats as a boss. Lyon's playstyle is very much a stat check battle/war of attrition, which admittedly, isn't very good in this series because of the whole mastery skills situation. He does have access to Parity which gives him some extra help in that regard, but there are times where he would rather not use it. And because he can only use it on his turn, the utilization is subpar even with his above average speed. Since he has some hit-rate issues (Even with Naglfar having 95% hit), he often has to rely on his other skill at his disposal, Adept. This is the main reason why he would choose to not initiate with Parity. When you take a look at his offense, you'd probably assume that his Magic would be a bit higher. However, his personal weapon he brings to this series, Naglfar, has 25 might, giving him a 83 damage magic attack each time. Wasn't much else I could find that I could give to him in terms of skills, since there aren't any in FE8.

Parity: From Null-C-Disrupt in FEH. Nihil would be too much for someone with this type of bulk.
Adept: From the secondary effect from Naglfar & Coral Saber in FEH.

This weapon was already very strong, so there was no need to give it any buffs. 95% hit rate on a Dark Tome? Thank you very much.

I used Soren's Arch Sage Model for him since he was the only male sage with long hair that could pass as Lyon. Soren was able to use Flare whereas Lyon could not.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
