This team tournament of two separate Double Elimination Bracket groups and a final one at the end. Each group has 4 teams in them where they will fight to determine the top two teams that advance to the final bracket. Each team consists of 5 units (4 of the units are the most story relevant characters from that faction/region, and the 5th unit will be an MVP type unit to give each team a strong unit to help round it out.)

The team that has the highest total base speed among all the units on their team, goes first. For example: The Greil Mercenaries have 260 Total Base Speed whereas the Crimean Royal Knights have 293 Total Base Speed. Therefore, in this matchup, the Crimean Royal Knights would go first.

The way that the fights work is how the fights work in the Link Arena battles from the GBA games. No unit can recover HP unless they have a skill that does it (Renewal, Flare, etc.). As soon as the fight starts, each team designates a protected unit. This unit is protected from being attacked until the 3rd turn. However, this unit is unable to attack until the start of the second turn. In the video, if the unit is green, they are protected and cannot attack; if the unit is yellow, they are still protected, but can attack.

**NOTE: All of the fights are a best of 1, however when I was recording the clips for this, I did a best of 3 and picked the most interesting fight from the winner. The video would be far too long if I showed the actual best of 3 for each fight.**

The team that goes 2-0 in their group moves onto the final bracket. The team that goes 0-2 in their group is eliminated. The teams that went 1-1 will fight a tiebreaker match. If the teams have not fought each other yet in their group, they will do a normal team fight. If they have fought each other in their group, they will fight in a 3v3 crew battle to determine which team moves on with the team that went 2-0 (more info on this in the google doc above).

When it gets to the final stage, the teams that went 2-0 will get a bye for the first round of the final double elimination bracket and will fight each other in the Winners semifinal. The teams that fought in a tiebreaker will start in the Loser's Bracket. Then it is just normal Double Elimination rules from then until the end of the tournament. The same rule stands from the group stages where the fights are determined based on whether or not you have faced the team before. However, the Grand/True Finals will just be fought like the normal team fights no matter what.
