Edelgard was the only non-RD unit that was given a buff, and there was plenty of reason to help her out. She was insanely slow because of the negative boosts to speed from all the armor classes in 3H, as well as spreading her stats too thin between her Str and Mag. Since this was my second ever non-RD unit video in the Unlimited series, I didn't have the same mindset that I do now, which is wanting to make sure that the units coming in from outside of RD have the best build they can. So, to help her out (since she was by far the worst performer among the non-RD units), I completely reworked her build. Instead of giving her the promo bonuses from all the armor classes in 3H, I instead gave her the Fighter path promo bonuses instead (Fighter to Brigand to Warrior to Emperor). This gave her a much needed buff to her Str and Spd, the latter being a very big improvement, whereas her Mag and Defenses suffered. However, with her astronomical HP, she doesn't feel the nerf to her Defenses very much and 36 magic is serviceable enough for dealing with the more physical tanks in the series. But perhaps the most important change to her stats was her buff to her Skl and Lck, which gives her an extra 20 hit to work with since she doesn't have access to Wishblade anymore with the change to the Fighter path (She is still able to use swords since she canonically uses them as a boss in some chapters in 3H). The other buff to her build is her weapon Aymr. She did have Aymr in the original video, but I couldn't find a situation where it would be better to use than the Urvan. So, instead of just making it stronger Mt wise than the Urvan, I decided to do something with her special Combat Art, Raging Storm. If she initiates with Aymr she will be able to initiate again before the enemy gets to take their turn. Pair all of this with her skills, Vantage and Adept, and you've got a monster; much more canonical to how Edelgard is viewed in 3H.

The skills that I gave her were as follows:
Vantage: She gets Battalion Vantage via the Authority tree.
Renewal: She gets Battalion Renewal via the Authority tree.
Adept: This was to simulate the her Twin Crests ability in Three Houses.
+4 Res: From Imperial Lineage+ in Three Houses.

Weapons:
Aymr:
Hit: 85% (From 60%)
Mt: 25 (From 24)
Crit: 20%
When initiating with this weapon, the user can initiate again the next turn. (Once per player phase)
Just so Edelgard would actually use the weapon, I gave it a big boost to hit rate; 60 was just far too low.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
