The master of all weapons, Leif is here! Leif has been a unit I've personally been looking forward to because of his personal skill in Engage, Adaptable. It essentially lets him counter with whatever the best weapon is for him in any situation. Having access to pretty much all the weapons in the game (Swords, Lances, Axes, Bows, Anima Magic, & Light Magic) all at SS Rank, makes this skill even better, as he will always have the upper hand in the fights. To make it even better, he has the frightening Vantage/Adept combo. So, even if he doesn't one round the unit he is facing on the first turn, he will have a pretty good shot to finish them off before they can take their turn. And we haven't even talked about the weapons at his disposal! Not counting the weapons that I mentioned above, he is given the Light Brand and the Bragi Sword. The Light Brand is a light magic based sword that gives him +10 Luck when equipped. The Bragi sword is basically an empowered Armorslayer with the added bonus of letting him use Parity when equipped with it. It isn't the highest Mt weapon that he can use, but it gives him insurance against units that he can guarantee 2 shot with it so he doesn't have to worry about any skills going off. Along with the boosts to his stats from his Engage ring, I took 30% from his HP growth and put it into his Magic so that he could actual use magic weapons.

The skills that I gave him were as follows:
Adept: From FE5
Vantage: From Engage
Speed +5: From Engage (I translate Build to Speed in this series)
Def/Res +5: From Engage (Arms Shield)
Adaptable: Unit is able counter with whatever weapon they want at all times.

Weapons:
Light Brand:
Hit: 80%
Mt: 14
Crit: 0%
Light Based Damage
When equipped, grants +10 Luck.
I gave it a slight Mt boost to give him a reason to use them over other magic weapons.

Bragi Sword:
Hit: 80%
Mt: 16
Crit: 0%
Effective vs. Armor
When equipped, grants the ability to use Parity.
Slight boosts to Hit and Mt to make it worth using over other swords. It gives Parity because of the secondary effect that it has. I opted to not give him Miracle because I can't tie skills to weapons unlike Parity which can be manually activated. I didn't want him to have it active at all times, because as you see in the video, he clearly does not need it lol.

The units that I used to create his models were Ike's Vanguard Model (Swords/Axes), Geoffrey's Lance Pal Model (Lances), Leonardo's Marksman Model (Bows), & Rhys's Saint Model (Anima/Light Magic).

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
