This tournament is a Double Elimination Team Tournament with the combination of all the units with the same skill onto one team. I decided that I was only going to do 4 units per team this time around because the last one was too long. Another reason was because there weren't enough RD units to fill out all of the teams. For example, Team Vantage only had 3 units from base RD to use and since I wanted to only have one non-RD unit per team, I had to make it only four per team. After all of this, I only had 7 balanced teams (Miracle was too cheesy lol). So, the final team that was added, Team Wild Card, is made up of misc. skills that aren't on any of the current teams. The way that the skills work in this tournament is that only the team with the skill in their team name is able to use that skill in the tournament (There are some exceptions to this rule). So, for example, Dimitri from Team Wrath doesn't have access to Vantage since there is a team that is made up of units with Vantage. To make up for the units that lose out on their skill(s), they are given a stat boost based on the skill that they had removed. So, back to the Dimitri example, in place of having Vantage removed, he is given a +5 boost to his speed. You can see all the different stat boosts in the Google Doc above.

As stated before, there are exceptions to this rule. Team Nihil, and any unit with Nihil is the exception. Since the whole point of this tournament is to show off the skills from the teams, I decided that any unit with Nihil should have their skill removed since it would nullify all of them. However, since Nihil is arguably the best skill in the game, it felt weird only giving them the stat boost that came with removing the skill. To make up for this, they are given a pool of 4 points to use to pick skill(s) to replace Nihil with. You can see what those skills are and what each Nihil unit chose from those choices in the Google Doc above.

Another important detail that changed from the last Team Tournament is the protect system that was in place before. I felt that the slower team was at a big disadvantage with their protected unit. The way that it worked before was that each team protected one of their units for the first two turns. However, they were unable to attack with that unit until the second turn. The way that the turn order went basically gave the faster team two free attacks before their protected unit was open for attacks. However, the second team was only able to get one attack in with their protected unit before then. So, to remedy this and to give each team the same advantage with their protected unit, the slower team is now able to attack with their protected unit right away, essentially giving them two free attacks like the faster team.

And finally, regarding the whole style of the Team Tournament from before: It was essentially a Double Elimination Bracket lol. So, to make things easier to look at for both me and the viewer, it was just changed to be a Double Elimination bracket instead.
