Levail is one of the three Resolve units in RD and he is probably the unit that can utilize it the best out of them. Tauroneo is too bulky to get to the threshold consistently and Skrimir folds completely against anyone with a decent magic stat. Levail still struggle against the magic units but he can at least counter them if they don't use a siege tome. His stats aren't the best, but it does give him some good physical bulk with his 80 HP and 53 Def. But as mentioned before with Tauroneo, getting to the threshold of 50% HP is important for Levail, so having a little less physical bulk compared to him, helps him get to the threshold that much more often. Levail also has a pretty solid Strength stat which the Sentinels really need to be effective with their less than ideal mastery skill, Impale. He is very susceptible to mastery skills since he gets initiated on very often with his terrible 40 Spd. But in turn, if he somehow survives the onslaught and takes enough damage, the fight is very much in his favor from then on with Resolve. The other main issue with him is that he doesn't have the best hit rates with average Skl and bad Lck. This does get remedied somewhat when he gets into resolve range, but he has to get there in the first place in order to do anything. And of course this also gives the opposition another out, by giving them the option of critting him with his terrible Lck. This makes Levail very reliant on having a good enemy phase to even have a chance at winning.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
