The OG Lion and hero of Tellius, Soan, is here! There isn't much to go off of with Soan (including official art as you can tell from the thumbnail), so it was tricky deciding what to do with him for this series. As a start, I gave him the max of the growth rates between Caineghis, Giffca, Skrimir, & Stefan (Stefan because it's heavily implied that he is a descendant of Soan). For Stefan, I just halved his growth rates (Aside from HP/Luck) to account for the Laguz style growth rates. I then lowered some of Soan's growth rates to account for giving him Ashera's blessing (Fortune) and a couple of other skills, Quickclaw and Howl, that just made sense for him. I only did this because the only way for him to lose with everything at max was a stray mastery, so it didn't feel quite right. Also it would just be the Lion Amalgamate unit and I didn't want that either :P. Nihil wasn't given to him because not many units would be able to muscle their way through his HP/Def without skills. With all that said and done, he has some incredible bulk and an unrelenting offense. His 58 Speed helps him out-speed over half the cast and his 76 Str with the Great Fang makes him terrifying for any unit in his path, including the tanks of the series. He is also an amazing mage killer, mostly because he has such high HP that Flare/Corona cannot defeat him in one hit. And the other out that the mages have against him, being crits, is also neutralized because of Fortune. Not to mention, if he is attacked first from range, it's also possible for him to proc one of his counter skills, Quickclaw or Howl. And of course, being a Lion from Tellius, he also gets access to Roar, so, if a unit can somehow survive a couple of hits from him, he has a 38% chance to just delete them instead.

Also, the reason why the video has a blue/green hue to it is because no matter what I did to try and change the models of the Lions, it always ended up looking glitchy. So, I just decided to change the whole video instead. Below is an example image:

The skills that I gave him were as follows:
Roar: Because he is the strongest Lion in Tellius. It'd be weird if he didn't have it.
Quickclaw/Howl: Given in exchange for some growth rates just so he could have the laguz 2-range skills.
Fortune: Ashera's blessing, but not in it's entirety since Nihil would be too much on the Physical tank that he is.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
