I decided to add some Avorion MODs to the DannyCode Multiplayer Server finally. I added three MODs; the "Just Sell Me Guns Already" mod, the All Independent Turrets MOD, and my favorite, the Auto Research MOD. While I am still playing the Avorion Black Market DLC, I thought adding some mods to the server while not many players were on it was a good idea. And I wasn't wrong. :)
The Auto Research MOD is particularly handy when you are researching both upgrades and turrets at a research station. All you have to do is to pick a rarity and how many min/max upgrades or turrets to sacrifice, and the MOD does the rest... quite slick if you ask me. This really helps automate the process as the name of the mod implies.
The other MOD that I really like it the turret factory mod. It allows you to buy any of the base turrets from the blueprints without having to track down and buy the turret parts. However, the turrets do cost as much as the base turret would cost, plus the cost of what it would take to buy all the parts. Still one of the best mods EVER!
I go over each mod and how it works. Then I head out to try my new turrets with some Xsotan target practice. Good fun!
