3This new teaser trailer for Ronimo Games' Awesomenauts takes us back to our misspent youth, watching Saturday morning cartoons in the 80s and has us pining for simpler days, sat in our pyjamas in front of the TV eating Weetos. Even the power ballad theme tune evokes 80s cartoons.
Set in the year 3587, Awesomenauts is a 2D side-scrolling shooter that supports up to six players, as you battle one another across the game's alien worlds. You can play with 3-players locally or fire up some "ferocious teamplay" with a full complement of all six Awesomenauts in online co-op.
Each character has a full set of upgrades and there's over 100 items to collect and use to beef up your team's abilities, making Awesomenauts an interesting prospect for when it launches on XBLA later this year.
