AWS Cloud - How to fix EC2 instance failed at first boot, status checks 1/2 passed

I have an EC2 instance that built from AMI, while i run that instance at first time, i got a status checks 1/2 passed, that means my instance is not up yet.

After checking on 'get system log' menu, an error appear in the terminal:
out of memory, Killed process 1231 (mysqld)
meaning my instance has not enough memory, so the solution to fix this is to update my instance to higher type.
