So it's at this point where we're given our character select. Each character has their own campaign, but unlike say, X4 or Mega Man & Bass, both are tied to one save file and you can switch between them, you just have to go back to the title and load the save file again.

So it's here where we are formally introduced to Quinn and Xiao. Xiao was a member of Quill from a different region that left as well, and Quinn is a girl Gunvolt rescued and is letting him and Xiao stay with her. She can also speak to Joule somehow, despite not having a Septima. Speaking of, Joule seems to be doing fine despite what happened, but who knows how long that might last. So, we gotta go after those Eden folks to get those shards back and make sure they don't cause any real damage with her power.

Meanwhile, Copen is analyzing that shard he took earlier, but found nothing of particular value. We also find out his relation to that girl earlier. She is his younger sister, who is very ill and can't speak. Though when coming close to Mytyl, for some reason Lola takes on a form similar to Joule. Most likely from the shard, but why when close to Mytyl is the question. Though when this happened, it also made Mytyl feel slightly better. This gives Copen his motivation to go after the other shards. __
