Had 2 ideas for anniversary, one of them I decided to postpone until GV2's 10th anniversary next year. No AC as Gunvolt is obviously significantly easier due to having unlimited air actions and not caring about score for S++, but there are still problematic bosses where some luck and strategy is required (even more so if you're doing quick kills like me to prevent bosses from doing their SPs). Here's a brief rundown:
BB: Nothing much to say, easiest boss of the main 8;
Shiron: You need decent luck to get favorable attacks. Patterns like mine give enough time to soften up the boss and have enough Fetters to Voltaic Buster before Magician's Gate, which is unavoidable without Arc Chain as GV;
Apollo: A bit more challenging than BB, but is also made a joke through a combo of Flashfield + Spark Dash;
Cayman: First major roadblock for a quick kill. Has higher defenses than most bosses, I would have an easier time quick killing if I knew how to perform Spark Dash cancels back then;
Grazie: Same as Cayman, higher defenses, need favorable moves. Phase 1 was good, almost flubbed quick kill but luckily it went well;
Sistina: Another joke boss, only attack to watch out for is the 5 missile shells, can't AC through the entirety of phase 2 after all.
Prado: I think she has the highest defenses of the main 8 bosses? You need good RNG for a quick kill and a well timed Spark Dash as phase 3 starts;
Serpentine: Diverse scenarios due to RNG, but they don't impact the approach much to adjust anything for quick kills;
Jotaper (Jota&Viper): With 300% gauge, this boss is a walk in the park, just try to chip away partially at the second boss before killing the first target so you can trigger VB quicker;
Tenonda (Tenjian&Zonda): Same as above;
Zed: Can be a bit problematic, maneuvering around Rexcalibur without AC is a bit costly, so make sure to optimize the attack by performing at least one Spark Dash. Spark Dash cancels make light work of Zed through phase 2 for a VB;
Moebius: Top 3 challenging fights, surprisingly. One attack is unavoidable and can be thrown out as early as the start of the fight, orb placement can vary from decent to outright horrid under my restrictions, and quick killing this boss is perhaps the most difficult ordeal, because you need around 180% to kill before phase 3 with VB, which basically mandates you to perform Spark Dash cancels and to have good RNG in both phases (in phase 1 start with either cross lasers or the orb pattern in the video, in phase 2 get black hole move before VB). Special move is dodgeable and phase 3 is possible without AC and taking hits, but you aren't left with much room for mistakes.
Teserak {Teseo&Merak): Again, with 300% not an issue, just time your attacks during laser spinning so missiles hit your Flashfield;
Nova: Due to being a 2 part fight, just popping Moebius IP for 300% isn't enough. That's why we retry to start with 150%, use Joule IP to get to 220%, and use this amount to handle part 1. Crashbolt Rain will corner you without AC, but it's only a reset if you don't get it near a phase change. For part 2, use Moebius to get to 300%. Crashbolt Rain or Astrasphere blasts as opening moves are pretty much resets, so you need to get Luxcalibur into Voltaic Chains or in an opposite order for a quick kill.
Asimov: Optimal move in phase 1 is mizuchi shots, for chaser projectiles try to multitag and zap, or you might not have enough time. Phase 2 will often start with a screen tag, unfortunately it's a reset. Greed Snatcher bullet hell can be dodged by going off screen, but that drains a good chunk of your gauge. Going into part 2 of the fight, make sure to tag 3 times and do as much damage as you can during Luxcalibur part for a quick kill, because Astrasphere Mandala (or Volt X Re:Age) can't be dodged without AC.
