Oh man this fight just blows with no AC. Phase 1 is, fine, you just have to play super aggressively and know how to dodge each shovel throw the boss can do. Phases 2 and 3 is where it gets dicey. Boulder breaks are something you don't want to see often, as some patterns are just unavoidable without AC (I had several close calls here, and the first boulder throw surprised me with how I even dodged it). However the biggest problem is the sand vortexes, they waste a lot of time, and the time limit is only like, maybe 10 seconds bigger than the standard (which did save me admittedly, but you'll see why in mission results section). Phase 3 Special... I, think it's theoretically possible to do as Kirin, just not by a human. The part with two vortexes at the corners and you being stuck in what little space you're offered is the most problematic part. The suction towards one of the vortexes randomly changes during the skill, so combining that with the fact you have to periodically jump over Grazie while also destroying the falling hazards... Yeah no, I'll take the screen ceiling cheese as Gunvolt, thank you very much.

For the most part, the main 8 bosses of GV3 on Merciless have a 2 minute time limit, with the exceptions of Cayman and Grazie, I believe. This is a fortunate thing because the RNG decided to screw me over with two sand vortexes in a row, so I went a little over 2 minutes.
