Back 4 Blood is an online multiplayer first-person shooter game published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developed by Turtle Rock Studios. It was released for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 12, 2021.
Back 4 Blood is generally comparable to Left 4 Dead in terms of gameplay; both are four-player cooperative games with an eight-player PvP option, with a focus on multiplayer and replayability. Cards are a new feature in Back 4 Blood. Players must create their deck with cards that affect several aspects of gameplay, such as the player's health, damage, and stamina, at the start of each level. The AI Director will deploy Corruption cards against the player in addition to playing cards to stymie their progress. Additional foes can be spawned, a fog effect can be activated, and the horde's size can be increased by the AI.
