Backlog Resolution: Prey (Part 3)
Some more exploration, enemy encounters, and finding more useful tools like a silent pistol and a nerf crossbow. I think it's strange that the alternate timeline elements of this universe resulted in a lunar space station made by the US and the Soviets, but as we find out in the next area of the game, the nerf gun might not have been invented before some guys on the super advanced research station decided to dick around at work and use bleeding edge technology to make a foam dart shooter. It can activate touchscreens, though.
Prey is a 2017 immersive sim from Arkane, the studio behind the incredible Dishonored trilogy and Deathloop. Set in an alternate history aboard the privatized space station Talos I, Prey tasks you with figuring out who you are and what you want in an environment ripe for exploration and experimentation. Inspired heavily by System Shock and bearing the name of a completely different game, Prey is a critically acclaimed release that is well worth your time and energy, perhaps many times over.
