Backlog Resolution: Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall Part 4
Honestly, I rather enjoy the dungeon crawling in this game to some degree. What really throws me off is the obtuse leveling system (which would be made clearer in later Elder Scrolls games) and the... just bland feel of the entire world. It's just kinda draining to play and try to care about this world. I kinda struggle with that in the more modern games of the Elder Scrolls franchise, too.
The Elder Scrolls Chapter II: Daggerfall (known as Daggerfall from here on) is the second game in the Elder Scrolls series from Bethesda. Daggerfall is about as open as an open world RPG can get, with radiant quests, an enormous map to explore, randomly generated dungeons, and substantial character and class customization options. Freely available and enhanced by Daggerfall Unity and its many mods, this game is one of the most customizable role-playing experiences on PC for anyone with the patience and drive to learn.
