Aulard is a massive fan of tanks, regardless of the faction they are employed by. Unfortunately, while this interest has helped him develop incredible repair skills, he is often distracted on the battlefield when urgent repairs are necessary. Struggling with his dissatisfaction of fixing tanks instead of driving them, he receives some advice from Dan about how to deal with it. VC4 centers its narrative on an experience of open warfare with a fascist empire, focusing less on the history and prejudices manipulated and exploited by the empire than the original game. With numerous adjustments built on the solid core and visual style of the original, Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a beautiful treat for fans of the series.
