This is a song I made while I was having a lot of self esteem issues with music. Like so many others, I made this song just to close the project file to never open it again because it wasn't exactly how I envisioned it and it didn't stack up against the impossible expectations I had for myself.
Months later, I started putting together my compilation album SCRAPS and I stumbled across this song. I remembered it an decided to put it on the compilation. When listening through without the prior context of the strains I had put on myself, I really enjoyed it.
Writer's block is a prison, from which you cannot see your work for what it is.
I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
