There’s a common misconception that being attached to an institution or an ideology automatically makes you a good person. Christianity teaches, "They will know we are Christians by our love," while many progressives claim to be on the side of love because they stand with the oppressed. But neither label—Christian or LGBTQ+—defines a person’s goodness.
Being Christian doesn’t make you righteous. Being LGBTQ+ doesn’t make you morally superior. Actions define character. True goodness isn’t about belonging to a movement—it’s about how you treat others.
Christians are called to love, even those who don’t share their faith. Likewise, LGBTQ+ individuals shouldn’t view straight people as adversaries but remain neutral and fair. Morality isn’t about identity—it’s about action.
