Technically the third installment in Telenet's 'Final Zone' franchise; 'Final Zone II' would see the series brought to NEC's TurboGrafx / PC Engine CD hardware, with the capability for CD audio. Naturally, full advantage was taken of this functionality, and players are treated to a pair of songs featuring vocal tracks.
"Bowie's Chance" serves as the game's title screen track, and attempts to summarize the game to ensue with it's masterful lyrics: Encouraging players to "CRUSH, destroy Ruman" (the game's final boss), and to watch their enemies "burst into flames with bazookas." An altogether silly ditty for a game taking itself deathly seriously -- further undermined by disinterested voice acting throughout the brief campaign.
