[Bad Rats Show] - Walkthrough/Guide All Levels
7Yes, it's the sequel to the infamous Bad Rats. At first, I was surprised there were no guides out there for this game, but after playing it makes sense now. While this is more consistent than the last, I think it is more beneficial to use this to see skips and get an idea of how you CAN do the level. I have some other tips though since I think that would help more than any text or video guide. Basically you're trying to get the ball to the button by any means possible. I highly recommend using the mode where you can select from all the rats, as you have added flexibilities in what you can do. Also, a trick to beating stages is to place your first rat and see where the ball goes, as the trajectory of your last attempt is saved. You can use this to play out how to place your next rat and/or tune the positions of the current rats. This is pretty well needed for the 3D sections as my solutions will be hard to follow sometimes, and it's hard to place them exactly as I did.
Your primary rats are pretty much as follows:
Jebus Rat - Use it for skips, as it pulls the ball in the direction of the button and can even pull it through walls. Sometimes it doesn't quite get it to the button, in which case you could put it on top of a hockey rat or place a yoga/pope rat on the opposite side of the button. You can also use objects to make sure that the radius of the Jebus rat is breached at a different point, which can be used to get that little bit of extra distance through a wall.
Yoga/Pope Rats: The pope rat is good because it pulls the ball as long as it has line of sight. I liked to place it up high and use a jebus rat to get the ball out of its vision, otherwise it will keep attracting it. If you place it on top of a tower, it can often pull the ball such that it knocks the rat off the tower, and you can use something else to get the ball out of the way. It's also useful to place behind the goal in a lot of cases. The yoga rat is similar, but I usually only used it if you couldn't place any rats where the ball is, or if the pope rat was in use and I needed it at the goal.
Hockey/Kung Fu Rats: These rats are good for getting far distance in a line. The hockey rat is good for getting the ball to go sraight left or right since it's very horizontal. The Kung Fu rat is similar except it kicks in any angle within it's radius, so you can get beautiful 45 degree launches out of it. Very helpful rat.
Motorcycle/Football Rats: Good for pushing the ball up/off of ramps or slopes. Use the motorcycle if you want force (and potentially an explosion boost), but the football rat is more reliable if you only want to climb a hill and not launch the ball. However, the football rat bugs out visually a lot. I used the football rat a lot more than the motorcycle, but there are a few cases where the motocycle is better (hitting the ball in midair with strong velocity).
The rest: Don't bother.
