BALANCE OFFLINE! - War Thunder 1.87 Dev Server Preview - Part 1: Overview & Aircraft
17As per usual there wasn't much notice given with regard to the release of the Dev Server for 1.87 "Locked on", I was able to get on and check out the new units on display (bearing in mind that anything on the Dev Server is subject to change). With that being said the units on display, though stunning to look at also imply that Balance is the last thing on Gaijins' mind with the release of this patch. The "pendulum of balance" has swung away from the USA and towards the USSR with the introduction of a Rank 7 SPAA for Russia and no one else (again subject to change). This coupled with the introduction of the T2 also means that the air supremacy battle at top tier is well and truly with the Japanese with an aircraft capable of Mach 1.6!
This video is part one of my initial look at the first release of the 1.87 Dev Server and contains an overview of the units viewable along with a look at the T2 and G.91Y (for Italy). I'll do a second video showing the ground units in more detail along with testing them in custom battles, hopefully I'll release it tomorrow.
