OOFOMATIC - OTOMATIC SPAAG - War Thunder Gameplay (Ace Matches)
23The OTOMATIC SPAAG has been in War Thunder for only a couple of months and has already made its' presence felt in Ground Forces gameplay. Though, with anything in War Thunder its' Crown won't last long as Gaijin has recently announced the addition of Rank 7 units.
The vehicle itself is basically the icing on the cake for the Italian tech tree and easily the most potent dedicated SPAAG platform currently in game. It does have access to APFSDS ammunition, but, can only carry 12 rounds, the stock APHE rounds being not so good when dealing with multiple Abrams and that's the main balancing factor for the vehicle - it's not an MBT so don't expect it to shrug off shots from any enemy MBT's.
One point I should mention the OTOMATIC would in real life have been issued with a machine gun of some sort (mounted on the turret roof) for infantry defence. Whether or not it gets it (eventually))) in War Thunder is a different matter...

As far as Rank 7 goes, I can sum up the biggest threat to the OTOMATIC's Crown - Tunguska. With Rank 7's being thrown in, I have no doubt we'll also get Rank 7 SPAAG's - including platforms with Surface to Air Missiles and these effectively will or rather should be better in certain respects...
