Since the launch of Destiny 2's latest expansion, Beyond Light, the Crucible player base has been exposed to perhaps the most controversial gameplay element that the franchise has ever seen: Stasis. From being frozen in place for seconds at a time, to being slowed to the point that you can no longer shoot straight, to one-shotting grenade combos, to Supers with more damage resistance than any in Destiny's history, there are a myriad of problems. But things don't have to stay this way. In this video, I'm going to talk about EVERYTHING Stasis-related: freezing, slowing, grenades, fragments, melees, aspects, and Supers. There is a path forward to balancing Stasis for the Crucible, while preserving its power in the PvE Sandbox. I'm going to do my best to present to you how I would balance Stasis, and recommend changes that I think everyone could agree on. Let's get to it!
