It's Day 10. We went back to talk to some dead bodies and finish off the skeles in the Blighted Village. Then we were supposed to go complete Karlach's quest with the non-paladins, but....
As it tends to happen, I got squirreled and we ended up meeting Auntie Ethel on the road. We were exploring the area and found her house. Of course we peeked in and of course we soon found ourselves in combat 😱.
Next up, we finally fought the gnolls by the cave entrance where Olly and Rugan were holed up. That was kind of a hard fight. I thought about re-doing it, but we survived (well, almost all of us) and I considered it a Win 😊.
It was also a bad day of curses. We tried to open the weird, magic book and got cursed in the process 😕. Karlach broke a mirror and got cursed. I don't have a way to remove them (yet) 😩!
Playthrough Details:
I have fond memories of playing BG and BG2 back when they first came out. I haven't read or watched any guides or spoilers for BG3 so it's a fresh start going into the game. There will be a learning curve and it will be slow going, but let's enjoy the ride!
