It's Day 7. Last episode, we were forced to reload because we couldn't win this upcoming fight. This episode, I figured it'd be best to come back to this fight later and instead go hunting for easier prey.
Exploring some more we found a captive bear and a caged song bird. We unwittingly engaged in a massive battle and somehow eeked out a win (thanks in part to some wacky AI pathing).
Also, I knew about Karmic Dice being in the game, but I didn't know it was turn ON by default 😡. I thought I had to opt-in for it. I quickly unchecked that box. I want to experience pure RNG, good or bad.
Playthrough Details:
I have fond memories of playing BG and BG2 back when they first came out. I haven't read or watched any guides or spoilers for BG3 so it's a fresh start going into the game. There will be a learning curve and it will be slow going, but let's enjoy the ride!
