Baldur's Gate 3 Early Access is here and I give my first impressions after 6 hours into the game on what I think so far and how I believe this is true form Dungeons & Dragons 5e on full display on my PC, why this is a ROLEPLAYING game from another dimension, one that will wrap it's tentacles around you and not let go. One full of possibilities and with the impossible task of trying to replicate the freedom of a tabletop D&D session, Baldur's Gate III holds up extremely well, but what about for Baldur's Gate fans that aren't fans of the source material of DnD? Well, I cover that as well. Join me as I review Baldur's Gate 3 from an early perspective! I hope you enjoy!
Baldur's Gate III is a role-playing video game that offers both a single-player and cooperative multiplayer element. Players will be able to create one or more characters and form a party along with computer-generated characters to explore the game's story. Optionally, players will be able to take one of their characters and team up online with other players to form a party. It was announced during the PAX East 2020 event that, unlike the previous Baldur's Gate games, Baldur's Gate III combat will be turn-based, similar to Larian's Original Sin games
Baldur's Gate III is an upcoming role-playing video game that is being developed and published by Larian Studios. It released for Microsoft Windows and the Stadia streaming service in early access on October 6th 2020. It is the third main game in the Baldur's Gate series, itself based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system, specifically the 5th edition.
