Baldur's Gate 3 Early Access is releasing on September 30 and I'm excited.

I have growing concern around a feature that has been talking about in Larian's Latest Community Update though. I worry if it's really successful it could compromise design in future RPGs.

It may not be a huge deal, but we've said the same thing about other minor things in the past like quest markers, dungeon finders in MMOs etc. so I do think even small design problems in an RPG can certainly spiral if we don't talk about them early on.

I trust Larian though so this is more concern about what may happen in the future.
