Sam & Max VR might be a good game, it might be one of the more interesting VR games for all we know but I just wonder who this is trying to appeal to. Traditional P&C fans are likely to be a little annoyed after all this time we get a game that will likely be more about current VR gimmicks over puzzles and traditional Sam & Max game play.

I would be fine with this if we were still getting point and click adventures in the series but that doesn't look to be the case, so it seems like this has been done in hopes of getting old fans excited because there's simply nothing else.

I hope at the very least this raises enough interest for Steve Purcell to get offers from a studio to make a traditional game. Maybe the current Leisure Suit Larry developer? That might be a decent pairing.
