0The Shadow Dragon is next on my list of things to do before spellhold.
He works a lot like Firkraag except instead of fire damage you need to worry about energy drain. Negative Plane Protection should you with that. Otherwise the same strategy applies.
Interestingly the Pit Fiend I summoned lasted less time against Thaxll'ssillyia than it did against Firkraag. So you have less time to cast lower resistance to get that magic resistance down.
