In this Epilogue, things seem to be going well for the Hero of Baldur's Gate until he awakens from a dream in which he seemingly murders Skie Silvershield, daughter of the Duke - a dream that, as it turns out, is fairly well connected with reality. Thrown in prison for a crime which he may or may not have committed, he is then released by a thief who claims to have been acting on Imoen's orders - except that Imoen never really gave any such orders. As David's little group plans to flee far away from Baldur's Gate, they are ambushed in the forest and captured, setting up the stage for Baldur's Gate II: Shadows Of Amn.

As a special bonus, previously unused snippets of (occasionally hilarious) dialogue between the various NPCs are added on after the credits roll.
