The Band of the Welsh Guards has launched a moving single to raise money for brothers in arms as they deploy to Afghanistan.

Infantrymen and families dealing with life-changing injuries will get help from the Welsh Guards' Afghanistan Appeal. The baritone singer Mark Llewelyn Evans has spearheaded the drive to produce a charity CD, on which he performs, with all proceeds going to the fund.

He was the special guest on stage with the band in a series of concerts in Wales last week.
