An RAF fire fighting team has been awarded a commendation for its work in Afghanistan.

Members of Red Watch have provided airfield crash cover for Camp Bastion, transported casualties and were the team who responded to last month's IED attack that left six soldiers dead when their Warrior vehicle caught fire.

The men are now coming to the end of their tour and will be returning to different bases across the UK.
