This is a recording of my #basicswithblender stream where we will go through learning how to use blender, a free 3d modelling application, and create a scene from the lord of the rings from start to finish! Basics with Blender is a series of episodic tutorials for the fundamentals of modelling with blender.


So I kinda skipped ahead and did a whole bunch of stuff to finish off more modelling for the Argonath scene! but, I do explain a lot of what I did, and then proceeded to work on details with particle and hair effects in blender, and we look at how to use booleans to cut out bits from the sculptures!
Hopefully it doesnt feel too much like the "drawing the rest of the owl" meme
