This time around I'm doing the final mission of the Western Frontier campaign (Enemies Undone) with only capturing the airbase and and the enemy HQ, essentially leaving me with only the starting recon, the grunts that respawn at my HQ and later in the mission the gunships.

What makes this challenging is the complete lack of Anti-Air support, forcing you to deal with enemy gunships by shooting them down with concentrated Grunt fire and your own Gunships or trying to keep the gunships occupied while you capture the flag. The final part of the mission is especially difficult because there is a timer and more gunships than you could deal with in the short time.
