In this video I show the process of making a simple racetrack for the recon vehicle in Battalion Wars by modifying a greyscale image that represents the terrain using paint.net, and I talk a bit about the terrain format. Later in the video, I use my BW level editor to delete some objects that stand on the racetrack.

This video is not representative of how Kuju made the levels for the game. There is no doubt they had far more professional tools at hand.

The music used in the video is C1_05_05 from Battalion Wars and thus owned by Kuju.
