Battle off the Starboard Bow - Original Composition
Commotion stirs among the pirate crew, it would appear as if trouble has found us, and is headed our way, a battle will need to commence. Hold on a second, this is bad ladies and gentlemen, I thought Bard and I escaped the skeleton, but it's dead set on hunting me down to the ends of the earth!
It feels amazing to finally be at the point where I'm comfortable releasing this song. Over the course of, I think, 2 months, I wrote We Pirates Now, Gentle Breeze Across the Seven Seas, Fool's Theme, and this song. Finally, after spreading the releases out for over 2 years, every piece I made for that D&D campaign is posted to this channel. (All that work and we never even played any of them during the sessions) This is the final one I wrote, a battle piece that I like really well. As my ultimate final piece of the series, I had to include the ideas of the other pieces of course, there's a slight hint of We Pirates Now hidden in here, and near the end there's a part that feels a bit regal for some nice foreshadowing of Fool being a noble in disguise. There's also a quick bit from a meme song that's in here, but I won't spoil what that is. I hope you enjoy it.
