The new map for Battlefield 2042 is called Reclaimed and it appears to be designed around 64 players only so we won't be seeing it in the AoW 128 player playlists, only in Portal. That also means Reclaimed is quite small so Breakthrough players should be happy they don't have to spend ten seconds running to another objective. All that running they might get distracted and forget what they are doing...

Since the Season 5 update includes changes to the LATV I felt it was something I should focus on since I'm a bit of a LATV enthusiast myself.
At the moment I'm not sure the thermal weapons on the LATV will ever get used over the 20mm Canister Shot, would there advantage be they work better than the other options at nighttime? If so wouldn't that require new night maps or night versions of the existing maps? If it wasn't clear Canister Shot looks like the all around good option to run in the LATV.

With the Bolte getting the RAM special window treatment ( can't get shot out ) it seems like we are going to be seeing it a lot again. It's too bad the LATV can't get the same treatment since all the explosive related weapons were removed from it. Oh and for some reason the Hovercraft gets to keep it's grenade launcher but loses the TOW missile...so I guess DICE doesn't consider it a ground "transport" vehicle but also does consider it a ground transport vehicle.

The Season 5 map being 64 player only is a red flag for me or at the very least has me concerned that this might be the last major content because it's a weird shift to do now. If their intent was to go back to 64 player as the max player count in Battlefield 2042 would they go back and adjust the existing maps? Probably not, my assumption or guess at this point is we will only be seeing vehicle, soldier, weapon cosmetics moving forward.

The G57 nerf didn't really feel much like a nerf to me or at least in the ways I used it. The BFP.50 aka the Deagle felt okay, not amazing but certainly something you could get interesting clips with. It has a satisfying sound to it. I didn't really bother much with the new sniper rifle. It is one of the ugliest weapons in this game even with a T1 skin.

It does seem like a lot of things in the game have been changed with the Season 5 update so it'll be interesting to see if it actually improved the gameplay experience or made things worse.

I had editing issues so I was delayed in trying to get this uploaded on time, sorry about that.
