Battlefield 2042 is a first-person shooter that once again presents the full extent of the war and is the first Battlefield title for the next-gen consoles.
The world is on the brink. Food, energy and water shortages have ruined dozens of countries and triggered the greatest refugee crisis in human history. The deputies, which have been raging for several years, have produced numerous experienced but homeless veterans.
These specialists use their skills to shape the future - a future worth fighting for. These non-patriated or no-pats include families, farmers, engineers and soldiers. In the midst of this crisis, the United States and Russia are plunging the world into global war. No-pat specialists are fighting on both sides not for a flag, but for the future of all homeless people in this new world.
The highlight of the game: battlefields change before your eyes! In addition, a state-of-the-art arsenal awaits you with all kinds of weapons, gadgets and vehicles. The full scale of war returns and that in large-scale battles with 128 players, in which dynamic storms, environmental influences, complete freedom in combat and the typical destruction of Battlefield ensure completely new moments, as they are only in Battlefield. 128 players and large maps are only available on Xbox Series X / S, PC and PlayStation 5. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 only support 64 players on smaller cards.
Available for pre-order and will be available in retail and digital vendors starting October 22nd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Playstation 5 and PC. EA Play members will have access to a 10-hour trial starting October 15, 2021. EA Play members and pre-orderers will also get access to the open beta. Pre-orderers have the choice between three different editions: The Battlefield 2042 Standard, Gold Edition and the Battlefield 2042 Ultimate Edition for PC and consoles.
The game will also have a Battle Pass. For the first year, 4 seasons are planned, the content of which and 4 Battle Passes are included in the 1-year Battlefield 2042 pass.
