This is something I brought up in the Fjell Conquest "A" Strat video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o56-pogkXQA ) where you have those particular rounds in BF5 where your team is running around with pants on their heads. If your team is unable to hold a flag and they continue to zerg or some other not so great scenario but you still have a decent squad working together it can be advantageous for both your squad and your team if you pick one flag on the map and focus entirely on it with your squad.

Doing so will often times result in two things happening. You keep a significant portion of the enemy team ( especially vehicles ) distracted and you provide a pretty constant strategic spawn for the rest of your team which in the case of some maps provides leverage to turn things around. For example A or E flag on Rotterdam, if you are constantly stopping or pulling the enemy back to their main gimme flag it relieves some of the pressure for the rest of your team to take or re-take flags lost.

Often times this led to some more interesting and fun rounds for our squad especially when randoms that joined the squad figured out what we were trying to do without us telling them. Also shoutout to the randoms in this video, well played guys :)
