Battlefield V DLSS (Deep-Learned Super Sampling) recently came out and, following our below-linked FFXV DLSS benchmark, we thought it'd be worth revisiting. We delayed our initial publication on this content so we could dig deeper and try to find some positives of DLSS. Ultimately, we found one primary positive, although that's sort of subjective. We also did testing on the RTX 2060 to try and get a fuller picture of what DLSS is meant to do, as DLSS is available on the 2060 for lower resolutions than on the 2080 Ti (which we also tested).
DLSS tests include performance benchmarks of 1440p DLSS off vs. 4K DLSS on, though we also talk about 1080p DLSS Off vs. 1440p DLSS On.
Finally, we have some blind comparisons in here that we don't label until the end of the comparisons, which will allow you to form an uninfluenced opinion first.
