Battletech 2017 Beta Review - The Power of Multi-Target explained
377I today's episode of the Battletech Beta gameplay series I want to show you how the Multi-Target skill works. For this experiment I take 2 Orions and choose Wildfire and Kraken as the pilots for those. Both pilots have the Multi-Target ability and the Orions are filled with weapons to make use of that. My lance is filled up with Paradise in a Kintaro Brawler, making use of the Evasive Move ability and Witness in the Panther to apply Sensor Lock to evasive enemies.
As you can see in the gameplay you want to position your Heavy Mechs so that you can fire your short range and long range weapons at the same time. This way you make maximum use of the Multi-Target ability. When using this strategy try to get your Mechs in the water to maximize the cooling of your Mechs. Firing with all of your weapons all the time will rack up a lot of heat over time. So make sure that you watch your heat management.
I am getting asked a lot when the final version of the Battletech game will be released. My answer is: When it's ready. Harebrained Schemes are working hard on it and they to present us the best version of the game that they are able to create. I highly appreciate the fact that they postponed the release of the multiplayer part for stability reasons. This shows a very healthy release philosophy. Of course I will keep you updated on the final Battletech release date as soon as I get more information on that.
