Today we tackle a question about as old as Battletech itself "Where should I move my Battlemech?"

This video came about by sheer coincidence when, during the course of a game of Battletech, Steve asked for some advice on movement. What he got was an over 10 minute long monologue about the principles, ifs and whys of movement in Battletech. Beyond the considerations of just a single turn, what should you consider in the phase of a Battletech turn where a few small decisions can have a huge impact down the line, or maybe none at all.

We decided to release this part as a separate video, since the explanations about overall Battletech Tactics given therein can stand on their own and be applied in may different scenarios.

Battletech is an iconic boardgame / wargame that has been around for over 30 years with multiple videogame adaptations and a rich backstory full of big stompy robots beating the crap out of each other.
