Battletoads The Arcade Game 1994
7In today's installment of Dad's Secret Retro Stash, Dad plays Rare's 1994 Arcade Classic Coin-op version of Battletoads.
Given it's not the classic 1991 NES edition that everyone loved and spawned a few console sequels, a lot of people blame the reception and underperformance of this one in the arcades for why Rare shelved the Battletoads franchise for decades.
Why am I called Dad's Backlog?
Well the TLDR version is I've been playing video games since the Atari and Vic 20 days and over the years I've started many games and in most cases never finished them so I've made quite of collection of games I always wanted to finish but never found time to do it.
So I created this channel so my son and daughter can hopefully someday find this and watch Dad play through a lot of games he loved and maybe you all can share some of your memories of them too.
