Bayonetta 3: Chapter 3 - A Sinking Feeling (Standard, All 8 Verses)
3It was after I beat this Chapter that Bayonetta 3 is often split into 3 main Chapters that take place in a single alternate universe. Thus, Chapter 3 is the finale of our Bayonetta's time in the Tokyo "universe".

This Chapter takes Bayonetta through the ruined Tokyo heights to find that whale Homunculi, but be sure the explore in and around the buildings for important pickups and Verses.
Bayonetta's climb reaches to to the Taitō Prefecture. She ends up running into a familiar man: Luka.
He managed to escape from some Homunculi, but after flirting with Bayonetta, he leaves her to deal with more of them.

Chapter 3 introduces using Demon Slave for for combo finishes (Wink Slave), and last-second counters (Assualt Slave). Know that you'll see the former more than the latter).

Much deeper into Chapter 3, to start off Verse 6, Bayonetta finally sees a more unbelievable sight: Another Bayonetta, the native Tokyo's street-smart Bayonetta, codenamed as "β1".
This Bayonetta wields the flaming Ignis Araneae Yo-Yo, and is the master of the Phantasmaraneae demon that our Bayonetta was able to use earlier.
Together, you will use Bayonetta β1 and her powers to lay burning waste to the Homonculi that destroyed her home. Verse 6 starts out with Phantasmaraneae out-of-commission for Demon Slave, so β1 will just have to use the spider powers from her Yo-Yo's Demon Masquerade to swing and sometimes skate her way herself back to the ultra-massive Homonculi that swatted her away.
For Verse 7, you then use Bayonetta β1 on the Homonculi to take down one of its cores, the one that looks like a massive plant. You do that, and you get knocked off and will have to swing back into it, where Phantasmaraneae will be ready for action again.
The rest of Verse 7 will then have you fight the Iridescent Core. You also get to learn about the Masquerade Rage technique, which is a super move where Bayonetta and her current weapon's demon unleash a massive attack together. Use this to help you fight the Iridescent Core while avoiding its attacks, summons, and cloud traps.

Bayonetta β1 eventually defeat the Iridescent after tossing and blasting its core to smithereens.
However, other Homonculi were able to brutally catch her, anyway, as Singularity's oblivion of her world was reaching its finale.
Before β1 perished to this surprise attack, at the last second, she was able to sent her Ignis Araneae Yo-Yo to our Prime Bayonetta, giving her the powers to defeat the Homonculi that not only just killed her counterpart, but also killed that counterpart's own Jeanne.
Singlarity too full control of the fallen Iridescent, himself, turning it into the even more-massive Arch-Iridescent.

As A last-ditch effort, having been finally able to confront the Homonculi leader Viola spoke of before, Bayonetta unleashed her most powerful Demon Slave technique of them all, one that involve a much longer Enochian enchantment, and also one that involved RIPPING HER HEART FROM HER CHEST!
Through this enchantment, her Infernal Demon Gomorrah became the massive Kaiju beast known as Sin Gomorrah!

The finale of Chapter 3, Verse 8, has you use Sin Gomorrah in a 1v1 Gozilla-esque fight against Arch-Iridesecent.
Your moves in this fight follow a Rock-Paper-Scissors flowchart of "Punch/Slam beats Bite Beats Block beats Punch/Slam", with "Shoot" and "Dash" as extra moves. Anything you can do, your foe can do, as well. So pick your moves and react to Arch-Iridesecent's wisely. You might even get a prompt to "Strike".
Drain the Homonculi's health and unleash the Sin Gomorrah's Climax to finish this Verse and beat this whole Chapter!

This level of Demon Slave was a very painful endeavor for Bayonetta to pull off, but winning this fight meant that it wouldn't be in vain.
Even so, it was far too late to save her β1 counterpart's world. Singularity was eager to meet her, the Arch-Eve Origin, again in another world...
The Tokyo was then erase, and all that was left for Bayonetta there was to pick up the first Chaos Gear that was left behind. She needs 4 of these per Viola's orders.
Bayonetta was then warped back to Thule, ready for the next world and possibly to find Viola again. However, Luka was also brought back to Thule, as well...

From this point on, you can permanently use Phantasmaraneae with Demon Slave and the Ignis Araneae Yo-Yo. If you like spiders and/or fire, add these to your active arsenal!
