Bayonetta - The Rodin Are BROKEN!!! (Weapon Showcase and Strategies) ∞ Climax
313This was all done on ∞ Climax, to show just how truly broken these weapons are.
You can get these on Normal Difficulty through cheats or simply by completing the Platinum Ticket. Regardless of what difficulty you’re playing on they annihilate everything while giving the least amount of combo points possible..
Don’t use them if you want Platinum Combo Medals. They can work in some fights that require lower scores, or you can try to use Torture Attacks and pick up Angel Arms to increase your combo score.
The final hit of the swinging Axe attack actually gives 150 combo points if you land it! This is huge for the Rodin. If you manage to hit a few enemies with this it can help you achieve Platinum Combo Medals, but again it depends on the Verse. One issue here is that most enemies will die before the final hit, and Sergey's Lover gives no extra combo points.
You could also try to use the Infernal Communicator, but it really doesn't stagger most enemies on ∞ Climax. It's best to go with Decoys or Butterflies. You'll have full magic during fights anyways.
If you have a ton of magic you can use Bracelet of Time with Sergey's Lover, but this will drain your magic in seconds and prevents you from regaining it. Only use this if you want to take out a single target immediately. You don't really need it anyways, once you start attacking your decoys will keep you safe.
Alternatively you can just use Butterflies and Sergey's Lover together. This will only give you two butterflies and one decoy, but drains magic at the same rate as Sergey's Lover. It's usually not worth it, but can be a decent setup for fighting certain enemies.
The main issue here is that your decoy will remain even if your butterflies break, you'll need to deactivate it and then reactivate it again which takes quite a bit of time. You can't activate most accessories while your in the air.
It's worth noting that Climax Brace Bloody Moon with Sergey's Lover is on par with Sergey's Lover Rodin, the Rodin won't be giving you enough points for medals anyways so if you just want broken weapons they are both nice choices. Climax Brace does nothing on the Rodin.
Climax Brace won't actually effect your Decoys when using other weapons. The Bloody Moon/Pillow Talk doesn't actually have Wicked Weaves. Climax Brace directly increases the damage and range of the weapon, and you're decoys! Bloody Moon PPPPP with Climax Brace and Sergey's Lover will destroy any single target. This also has an insane amount of hitstun and range, and an effective Area of Effect attack in PPP•P.
Decoys can't use Wicked Weaves or projectiles.. They can be useful with the Sai Fung/Tang Lung but are much better suited for the Rodin and Pillow Talk/Bloody Moon.
